The First “Green Coach”
The Udall Legacy bus rolled into Burlington, Vermont on June 21, where representatives from the University of Vermont certified our motor coach as the country’s first ever “Green Coach.” Our motor coach is a three leaf bus – one leaf for biodiesel, one for a new EPA 2007 compliant engine system, and one for carbon neutrality. We’re Carbon Neutral Too
Our motor coach is driven by Lamoille Valley Transportation, a family owned motor coach operator in Vermont—and the first in the world to be carbon neutral. LVT purchases carbon credits to offset their emissions, helping to finance clean, renewable energy that will displace fossil fuel use, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and CO2 pollution.
